Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Verepor’s websites and applications (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Who may use Verepor

You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. If you use Verepor on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company. Each person who accesses the Service needs their own login.

Your account & company data

• You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• Company owners and managers control projects, invites, and most settings. Field users submit reports and time on behalf of the company.
• You retain ownership of content you upload (reports, photos, time entries). You grant us a license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate laws or others’ rights.
• Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the Service.
• Reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans, when offered, are billed according to the pricing shown at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. Free tiers may have usage limits.

Availability & changes

We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with notice when practical. Beta features are provided “as is.”

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Verepor is a tool to help document field work; it does not replace professional judgment, safety programs, or contractual obligations on your jobs and jobsites.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERE POR AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD $100 IF YOU USE A FREE PLAN).

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Verepor against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. liability limits) survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
